Celebrating 40 Years of Advocacy by Growing Our Movement to Meet the Challenges Ahead
Voices for Vermont's Children amplifies the needs of children, youth, and families in policy decisions. As an independent child policy research and advocacy organization, we work with youth and families to understand what's not working for kids in our communities and propose evidence-driven solutions.
In the four decades since Voices for Vermont's Children was founded, we've contributed to impactful policy advances like universal kindergarten, expanded health care coverage, paid sick days, and establishing an independent oversight body for the child protection system. We've also defended against policies that would worsen inequity and make it harder for kids and youth to flourish.
We are committed to the work of building a future of safety, freedom, and abundance for our kids, but we need more Vermonters to stand with us. There are many ways to get involved, and we value them all. As we close out our 40th anniversary year we are focused on adding 40 new members at any level of giving to sustain our policy advocacy in the extremely challenging years ahead. You can help by inviting people in your network to join you as a supporter of Voices. We’ve made it easy with this toolkit, and you can reach out to us for help. Thank you!
