On June 6th, 2024, Voices for Vermont’s Children and the Vermont Children’s Forum community came together to celebrate 40 years of advocacy for children and youth in Vermont. Founding members, current staff, and community partners reflected on the past, present, and future of Voices, the critical importance of centering most-impacted communities in systems change, designing community-centric approaches to research and data collection, and supporting youth voice during a time of rapid change. Voices also honored our David Goldberg Award recipients, The Root Social Justice Center and Youth 4 Change, as well as our Kids Count Legislative Awardees, Rep Rey Garafano, Rep Jubilee McGill, and Rep Dan Noyes. Thank you to all who were able to join!

Please help us honor 40 years and support ongoing advocacy for Vermont’s children and youth by becoming a member today!
