Forty years ago, a group of Vermonters coalesced around the need for unified, persistent advocacy on behalf of children and youth and founded the organization that is now Voices for Vermont’s Children. Join us as we commemorate 40 years of child advocacy at a celebration on June 6th at the Old Labor Hall in Barre.
We’ll recognize champions for kids, past and present. And we’ll be focused on the future, asking what will it take to provide our kids with the conditions they need to thrive; create resilience in the face of the existential threat of climate change; ensure every family has the resources and support they need to raise the next generation; and create a sense of belonging and worth for youth?
We don’t know all the answers, but we know that this is a watershed moment, and we can’t relent in our demand for equity and justice for kids. And we know we can’t do it without the support of our community. Will you stand with us?
Ticket sales will open mid-April, and sponsorships are welcome anytime!
